We've shipped a batch of improvements across email, candidate privacy, job postings, and team collaboration. Here's a quick tour of what's new.
Schedule for later, or take it back. Write a candidate email now and send it at a time you choose. And every immediate send now gets a short undo window, so you can catch a typo or the wrong recipient before the message actually goes out.
Personal email templates. Save your own private templates from your Account settings, separate from the shared workspace ones, so your go-to replies don't clutter the team's list.
Candidate privacy & compliance
Do not contact. Mark a candidate as “Do not contact” and Backrow will never email them again — manual, bulk, or automated — with a clear badge so everyone on the team knows.
Anonymize on demand. Need to honor an erasure request right away? Anonymize a candidate and all of their applications instantly, instead of waiting for the scheduled retention cleanup.
Job postings & departments
Hide compensation. Turn off the pay range on a public job posting while keeping it fully visible to your hiring team.
Nested departments. Group departments into sections — like Engineering → Backend — across your jobs, careers page, and API.
Social profiles. Add your company's LinkedIn, X, GitHub, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook links to your careers and job pages.
Team collaboration
Pin a note. Keep the most important note — a salary expectation, who referred them — pinned to the top of a candidate's Notes for the whole team.
